Saturday 30th April 2011 PMVC success at Cornwall International Male Voice Choir Festival

Peterborough Male Voice Choir joined 60 choirs from the UK and across the world in the Cornwall International Male Voice Choir Festival over the Royal Wedding weekend.  On Saturday 30th April 2011 the choir competed in the over 41 voices class, and gained a creditable third place.  The distinguished judging panel also gave a special award to the choir’s musical director, Will Prideaux, recognising his particular contribution to choral conducting.

13th November 2010 PMVC @ POSH

For the first time in their 75 year history, Peterborough Male Voice Choir will be performing at London Road, the home of Peterborough United. PMVC will be providing half-time entertainment in the League 1 fixture against Charlton. Fingers crossed for good weather and a win for the POSH.

2nd November 2010 Peterborough Male Voice Choir launch new website

PMVC are proud to launch their new website. The website forms a major part of the ongoing development of the choir which has so far included a major recruitment project and new logos and branding.

 

1st November 2010 Cornwall here we come!

Peterborough Male Voice Choir are proud to announce that they will be participating in the 2011 Cornwall International Male Voice Choir Festival. The choir are looking forward to returning to the county having taken part in the 2005 and 2007 festivals. It will be their first tour under their new director, William Prideaux, who is himself a Cornishman.
