After nearly five years as musical director, Alasdair Baker has decided to move on to pastures new.
Alasdair took up the baton at a critical moment in PMVC history, the interregnum following the departure of long-serving MD David Ingleby. As well as raising the musical standards of the choir to a new level, Alasdair has given the members an heightened perception of what is achievable through effort and commitment.
Thank you, Alasdair, for all your efforts, (sometimes against formidable odds!), to encourage and motivate us to work in perfect harmony. We wish you success in all your future projects.
