Andrew G Lockhart has taken over as the Choir’s accompanist from 4th January for a trial period, which will include participation until July in ‘Sing for Heroes,’ PMVC’s project in support of the charity Help for Heroes.

Andrew joined PMVC as a bass singer in 1999 and has held various posts on the executive committee, including General Secretary from 2003 until 2005, and Webmaster since 2006. He also has his own website at www.magdagreen.co.uk

He has been a semi-professional musician for much of his life, and has worked as piano accompanist with solo artists in addition to accompanying both mixed and male choirs on piano and organ. As well as singing with both types of choir, Andrew has also sung on the amateur musical stage.

For twenty years, he was the regular accompanist to the Corby Male Voice Choir.
